Download / Schemas

Schemas

Every dataset can be downloaded in one of three schemas. The data is identical across schemas. Only the way rows, columns, and files are organized changes. Pick the one that matches how your code consumes the data.

Long
One row per asset and timestamp, with the asset in a base column. One file.
Wide
One row per timestamp, one column per asset and field, named BTC_close. One file.
One file per asset
One file per asset, one row per timestamp.

Columns

Whatever the schema, a download covers one source, one interval and one quote currency, and every candle carries these fields. The wide schema repeats the six price and volume fields once per asset.

ColumnTypeDescription
close_tsdatetime[us, UTC]Close time of the candle, UTC.
openfloat64Price at the start of the candle.
highfloat64Highest price during the candle.
lowfloat64Lowest price during the candle.
closefloat64Price at the end of the candle.
base_volumefloat64Volume traded, in the base asset (BTC for BTC/USDT).
quote_volumefloat64Volume traded, in the quote asset (USDT for BTC/USDT).

The examples on the next pages use the same hourly sample for BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT on 2026-10-01, so you can compare the schemas directly. To pick a schema and generate a file, open Download in the platform.
