Terms of Service

1. The Service

Angolin provides market data (OHLCV) through a REST API and related tools. The Service is currently in beta: features, endpoints, data coverage and limits can change, and the Service can be interrupted or modified at any time.

2. Your account

You can sign up with a Google account, or with an email address and a password. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password and API keys confidential. Tell us right away if you think your account or keys have been compromised. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms or overloads it;
• bypass rate limits or quotas, share your API keys, or create multiple accounts to evade limits;
• resell, redistribute or publicly republish the data obtained through the Service, or use it to build a competing data service, without our written permission;
• attempt to access systems, accounts or data that are not yours.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules or put the Service at risk.

4. Data provided “as is”

The data comes from third-party sources and is provided for informational purposes. We do our best to keep it accurate and complete, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors, gaps, delays or interruptions, or that it is suitable for any particular use.

5. No financial advice

Nothing in the Service is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Any trading or investment decision you make is yours alone, and you are fully responsible for the risks involved, including the risk of loss.

6. Fees

The beta is currently free. If paid plans are introduced, their price and conditions will be shown before you subscribe, and they will not apply to you without your agreement.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, documentation and branding belong to Angolin or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own internal purposes, in line with these Terms.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. You can stop using it and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may update these Terms, and the date at the top will show when. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new Terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including trading losses or loss of profits, arising from your use of the Service or from errors, gaps or interruptions in the data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute is subject to the competent courts of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.
